What sticks out to you in Proverbs 30?

Don’t have it handy? Read Proverbs 30

8 Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me only my daily bread.

9 Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you
and say, ‘Who is the LORD ?’
Or I may become poor and steal,
and so dishonor the name of my God.

I think we could actually spend most of Feb on just this one very loaded chapter of Proverbs. I can say that God keeps me most near when He keeps me most dependent on Him rather than myself.

5 Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
6 Do not add to his words,
lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.

Every word of God proves true. Love it. Not necessarily is true the moment I read it, hear it, or experience it. But it proves true. Here’s to the idea of perspective!
